Try searching by the station's full name rather than an abbreviation. If it's still missing, let us know using the contact link below and we'll look into it.
Tap the star icon at the top of any station's departure board to follow it. To unfollow, open the station again and tap the star a second time, or remove it from your Home tab.
Yes — status, tracks, and service alerts come straight from NJ Transit and refresh automatically every 30 seconds. The full departures screen also supports pull-to-refresh if you want an update right away.
Tap the circle-dot icon next to a station's name, on Home or on its departures screen. A Live Activity starts showing that station's upcoming departures, and keeps itself updated in the background for up to two hours. Tap the icon again to stop it early.
You'll need a connection to load live departures, since schedule and track data comes from the transit provider in real time. Your followed stations are saved on your device, so they'll still be there next time you're online.
Open the Trips tab, pick your origin and destination stations and a date, then tap Find Trips. You'll see every direct itinerary and any one-transfer options, ranked by departure time. Tap any result for the full stop-by-stop schedule.
Everyone gets a free taste of Live Activity tracking and trip search before needing to subscribe. Time & Ride Pro removes those limits: unlimited Live Activities and unlimited trip search, for $0.99/month or $5.99/year (the annual plan includes a 7-day free trial). Departures, favorites, and Lines browsing are free for everyone, no subscription required.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple, not in the app directly: open Settings on your iPhone → your name → Subscriptions, or App Store → your account → Subscriptions, and select Time & Ride Pro.
Open the paywall (it appears automatically once you reach a free limit) and tap "Already subscribed? Restore purchases" near the bottom.
